Mission ST5 Factor Label Method Mass to Mole to Mole Conversions

Mission ST5 pertains to the use of the factor label method to convert from the given moles of a reactant to the mass of product (or vice versa) or from the given mass of reactant to the moles of product (or vice versa). Students must be comfortable with the conversion factor method of unit cancellation. The mission consists of 24 questions organized into 6 Question Groups.

Learning Outcomes

  • The student should be able to identify the factor label solution for a stoichiometry problem involving a mole-to-mole-to-mass conversion.
