Mission ST2 Conservation of Mass

Mission ST2 pertains to the law of conservation of mass. Students must be able to describe its meaning and use it to perform a mass analysis for a reaction. The mission consists of 20 questions organized into 5 Question Groups.

• The student should be able to describe the meaning of mass conservation and give reasons for why mass is observed to be conserved in a chemical reaction.
• The student should be able to perform simple computations to demonstrate the conservation of mass for a chemical reaction.
