Roadmap (6/18/2026)

Physics Classroom has embarked on its next journey to a higher state. We've been around for nearly 30 years, going from CDs, to the first website, to the second/current website, and onto the new website.

The new website is launching in phases. Below is the status of our progress!

Phase 1 - Complete

Phase 1 of the Migration was completed from 7/7/2025 through 7/15/2026. This was the major overhaul of the site and move to the new platform. Improvements include:

  • Improved Security (obfuscate Student data when ads present)
  • Improved Speed
  • New easier to navigate areas with unified structure and taxonomy
  • New layout with accessibility features
  • Impersonate Student feature
  • New Quote/Ordering System
  • Improvements to Subscription model

Phase 2 Timeline

Phase 2 is part way through, with many items also being complete.

Completed

  • Improved design, UI for our various tools and resources
  • Seamless Deployments
  • Better site uptime

Upcoming

  • Integrations with popular LMS systems (Fall 26', this is in progress with Schoology, Google Classroom, and Canvas)
  • Revamped and Improved Teacher Class Management UI Phase 1 (Fall 26', Get Teacher Class Management UIs on new theme, currently it's on the new site but with the old styling)
  • Better cross-linking of resources (Fall 26', Taxonomy tagging complete on non-interactives, needs to be complete on interactives)
  • Search / Resource Finder (26-27 school year, once all resources are properly categorized, cross linking and better search possible)

Phase 3 Timeline

Phase 3 will is largely clean up of migrated content, improvements, and some big upcoming features.

  • Finish Chemistry Resources
    • Remaining Chemistry Minds On (26-27)
    • Chemistry Lesson Plans and Homeschool Plans (26-27)
    • Chemistry Question Bank, Teacher Presentation Pack (26-27)
  • Finish AP 1/2 Physics Unit integration
    • Update Question Bank, Think Sheets, Teacher Presentation Pack
  • Updated Task Tracker Management UI (ongoing)
  • Creation of Universal Question Builder which will be accessible (multi-year)
    • First phase will replace the Minds On and Concept Checkers
    • Second phase will replace Concept Builders and Science Reasoning
  • Chemistry and AP1/2 Physics Video Tutorials (multi-year)
  • Rebuild Tutorial Pages using new accessibility dynamic equations and tables (multi-year)
